Sustainability and protection of environment are call of the day which every individual should look up to and try to contribute to it in the best possible way. Choithram international has taken the lead in the direction and launched its Green School Programme.

Under this distinguished project not only the teachers and support staff of the school but also the students are involved. Teachers have cleared Climate Reality Project certification and audits have been conducted for various natural components to check the sustainability which the school is keeping up.

The students have under taken several projects under the guidance of their teachers and have come up with the outcomes in the form of drip irrigation, composting, herbal garden, installation of solar panels, graffiti and many more to continue. All these projects along with serving and sustaining the environment, are going a long way in developing the IB learner profiles of caring, reflective, thinker, inquirer etc.

The project does not have to stop here but the school is taking a lead in generating awareness amongst the stakeholders of other institutes as well.
