Republic Day
26th January, 2017
The constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 1950 which is now celebrated as Republic day across India. Choithram International, to honor the constitution held a small ceremony in its premises.
The morning started with the flag hoisting by the DP Coordinator, Ms. Nandini Verma followed by the national anthem sung by the school while saluting our national flag after which the DPC delivered a speech. The morning continued with a short dance performance by MYP students paying tribute to India as a Republic. The event came to a close by another speech by the Head Girl of the school, Khushi Karnawat.
The celebrations culminated with a charged spirit but the flame of patriotism will keep burning in the hearts of one and all present there.
