5th of September is that one day of the year when students all over the country acknowledge the efforts of their teachers. This is also how India celebrates the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.

 

The day of 5th of September  being observed as a holiday, at Choithram International 4th of September, 2016 saw hushed student activity as they planned the surprise celebration for their teachers. It was a whole school event. The programme started with making different groups of Teachers.

 

We had dance performances by PYP and MYP kids then followed by many fun games and dance performance by Teachers. After that we had a speech by Shlok Kothari (Head boy) and Khushi Karnawat (head girl) The celebration ended with the students calling all their teachers out to the stage and dancing with them. All the teachers went home with a smile on their faces and love and gratitude for their beloved students in their hearts.
