Doesn't the first thought that comes to your mind after thinking of an old age home is an untidy place with helpless old and sick people around? As this is what we thought at the first instance but instead true happiness and sense of caring is what we got when we visited the old age home “Jyoti Nivas”. It is always a good feeling and a life lesson to meet people there. They are merry even as they share sad moment of their lives and consider us no less than their grandchildren. It is very satisfying to see a smile on their faces as we interact with them. As we heard poems, life experience or anything, it made us realize that we have always been missing a large part of our lives and would never miss a chance to spend time with them. It is long term continuous project and consecutive visits will be taken up by DP-1.
