Press Visit

Choithram International organized a press visit for the Hindi students of DP-1. The students went to “Nayi duniya’’ accompanied by their teacher, Ms. Vasumati Chaturvedi. The students learned exactly as to how the printing press actually works. We were taken to a CTP (computer to print) room where the actual hard work goes in. There is a set of aluminium plates that are made in that room on which the paper gets printed.

We were then shown the place where all the big and high – tech machines were kept. We were given a short briefing about the working of these machines and as to how many papers they could print in one hour. Each machine could print up to 35,000 pages an hour.  There was a certain coding which helped them to create more than 13 colour combinations at a time. It was truly an enriching and mesmerizing experience as we learnt a lot.
