Aesthetic Euphoria
A thing of beauty is  a joy forever -  John  Keats

There are moments  which leave an indelible mark and impression on one's  mind and heart ..it was like this when we visited  "  Visual Art  Exhibition " set up by  the DP2  Visual  art candidates  Swati Modh ,  Priya Rathi and  Damini Joseph under the expert guidance of Ms Deepshri Halve and her other colleague Mr.Dariyav Mayoor from Visual Art  dept. This project was on view for the purpose of the final IBDP assessment .There was a touch of all - pervasive  artistic excellence in the exhibited objects of art and artifacts and demonstrated the  admirable artistic talents of all the three practitioners of visual art . As one moved around  the exhibition , one noticed  remarkable sense of conceptualization of the paintings which showed  intimate  connectivity and coherence  in the themes as presented ..There was a riot of colours and  unique visualization  and  display of aesthetic maturity in the works of art as setup ..these creations in all their diverse moods and colours showcased in luminous manner  " unity in diversity " in ample measure .. One could see the evidence of a long drawn focused hard work by the the candidates - Priya , Damini  and  Swati .. There was nothing cosmetic about  the  artistic works displayed  ..it was a professional work of  high quality .

Visual Art is quite  a significant  area of knowledge in the overall scheme of IBDP  and  its study offers great beneficent  rewards to the students in terms  of  developing in them the  aesthetic sense and sensibilities and looking at the world and immediate surroundings with  freshness of  refined perceptions..

Good Luck to all the three candidates in all their artistic endeavours !
